Thanks to the way math is taught in India I still have very little understanding of so many of these concepts though I'm very good at remembering formulae/steps, mechanically calculating them, and applying them to real-world problems. It wasn't until I stumbled upon Better Explained[1] I began to appreciate the need to understand math at a deeper/common-sensical level.
