CDC admits it has no record of un-vaxed with natural immunity spreading Covid
- koolba 5y agoI had to edit the actual text to make it fit within the length limits. Original title from the contextual tweet is: In response to attorney’s FOIA request, US CDC admits that it has no record of an unvaccinated person spreading COVID after recovering from COVID.
- dv_dt 5y agoSo other questions would be does the CDC request or store records of individual covid spreading at all- let alone if the spread was from some combination of vaxed or unvaxed, or covid history? It seems like early on the US did not do contact tracing to any consistent level and probably does even less now. And the contact tracing didn’t necessarily confirm spread from anyone individually.
- ifyoubuildit 5y agoI think the obvious retort to this is going to be something along the lines of "well they don't record this info, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen". Which leads to the seemingly obvious question, why not collect this kind of data, especially given the heavy handed mandates? Is it just too hard to do?
- koolba 5y agoTwenty-two (22) months into this pandemic, Fauci gave an interview in which he said that they don’t have data on the efficacy of natural immunity. That’s either lying directly, incompetence for not gathering it, or truthful only due to willfully not collecting it out of fear that it would undermine mandates. Regardless of which, he should be sacked.
- Ambolia 5y agoIt's so depressing that after almost 2 years of pandemic we seem to have zero decent data and zero consensus regarding the real effect and usefulness of things like masks, lockdowns, seasonality of the disease, or what is the long term plan for countries trying to achieve 100% vaccination rates. It seems like every single decision is purely political and the next decisions are just cover-ups so that previous decisions don't blow up on the people who took them. I guess zero data means zero responsibility.
