Another way of putting it: On top of all the challenges imposed by government, why should Chinese people get the benefit of best-in-class performance, 5+ years of software updates, and relative security in a high-quality phone? Shouldn’t the west punish the people of china by withholding their best technology products? Personally, I think Apple should probably serve its customers as best it can while following local law and customs.
