Rail is not being improved for the sake of improving it. It is being improved because they eventually intend to make air travel too expensive for most people.
- dewey 5y agoNobody is going to suddenly outlaw planes if a trip by train would be 5 times as slow. Of course the intention is to replace them with high speed trains that are providing a similar level of comfort and efficiency.
