Saying this after Covid has killed more people than Malaria or HIV (per annum) despite unprecedented lockdowns and disruptions casts some doubt on the accuracy of the rest of the reporting.

[1] It’ll be interesting for historians to compare and contrast US reaction to the two in a few decades.
