Full disclosure, we still use hackerrank for just this internally. I just think if a candidate scores a 70%, I don't expect them to be better or worse than a candidate who scores 100%. Having criteria to perform an interview is one thing, but if your interview is just to go in with another toy challenge on a whiteboard, I think it would be much better to do a demo project, and immediately pair-program before making the decision to hire.
