The mysterious origins of an uncrackable video game
- theGeatZhopa 5y agoSomeone remember the board game "the crazy maze" (German: das verrückte Labyrinth), as I reconcile properly, there also, is always a way out in a procedural generated, dynamic, labyrinth .. the aim is to get out. Somehow. So for this to work fixed tiles and movable ones are needed. Fixed tiles lower/limit the possibilities/entropy and moveable tiles can be positioned the way pointing to the proper direction/fixed tile as a bridge between the rows of moveable tiles.. (https://images.app.goo.gl/1sq1jjF6va5P9ubJA https://images.app.goo.gl/1sq1jjF6va5P9ubJA) So I think the table they found are these fixed tiles with their orientations. The generator can choose from left or right oriented "movable tile" .. the table holds the proper orientation of the fixed tiles. I would do so. Generation in series would mean there is a cluster of fixed tiles which will be rotated and repeated.
