The Wikipedia article for this proposed language family is quite interesting. The linked article makes no mention of the Transeurasian family not being widely accepted. I wonder if these new findings help the proponents' case.

- cuddlybacon 5y agoNativLang did a video on the Altaic theory. I think 'defunct' is more appropriate than 'not widely accepted'. The accepted explanation for the shared features is a language area.
