- Spivak 5y agoThe usefulness of data depends on its quality. If people are submitting lots of thoughtful 1-star reviews then yeah, it's a stupid move. But if when you looked at 1-star reviews, and they were basically the junk ramblings of trolls then you might get a better signal of quality buy just ignoring them.
- crackercrews 5y agoViewers can judge for themselves whether the downvotes are signal or noise. For me, it's been a clear signal. And this move is a clear signal also, of whose pocket Google are in.
