The fact that a phone-box qualifies for saving if "more than 52 calls have been made from it over the past 12 months" kind of says everything that needs to be said about how rarely the things are now used.
- quitit 5y agoAlmost certainly used for tourist photo ops above every other use. This seems to be why Malta still have theirs. (You can find the iconic british phone boxes in the streets of Valetta.) All of that said - it’s respectable that they’re looking out for those in need prior to decommissioning the telephone functions within.
