I was a kid during the 90's internet boom, but I'm curious to hear from those who experienced that cycle firsthand in Silicon Valley what they think about the current climate we're in. I saw a couple of guys (in their early 20s) wearing Bored Ape Yacht Club hoodies at a local coffee shop in SF this morning. I can feel the hype emanating... it seems like every other struggling entrepreneur and nascent VC in the Bay Area has tacked "crypto and web3" onto the end of whatever title they sport on Twitter and Linkedin. I can't help but think "am I living through a totally wild time right now? Is this how it felt in 1999 when guys were planning IPOs in their apartments before having actually built a company?"
