Visual Studio 2022 for Mac, but why bother when VS Code runs just fine on Apple?
- armchairhacker 5y agoVisual Studio for Mac =/= VSCode =/= Visual Studio. Visual Studio for Mac is an IDE for .NET, C#. and F#. VSCode is a text editor with plugins which make it function similar to an IDE, but there are less .NET/C#/F#-specific features and the completion tools are worse. You can do most things with C# fine on VSCode. But in my experience writing code for Unity, Visual Studio for Mac was much better.
