Could just use Code - OSS that removes telemetry.
- jjeaff 5y agoNot a fan of that name. Makes it difficult to find information about it. Can you use all the regular vs code extensions with "Code" that you can use with "VS Code"? For the record, I'm also annoyed at the naming of Visual Studio Code. Not to be confused with Visual Studio which is a completely different IDE.
- willmorrison 5y agoNot a fan of the name either. Yes, you can use all of the normal extensions. It's the same thing without telemetry.
- siproprio 5y ago> It's the same thing without telemetry It's not. The vscode team purposefully breaks services and plugins that microsoft considers "strategic".
- siproprio 5y agoMicrosoft purposefully broke Vscodium.
