In the K8ssandra project we've gone back and forth about if we should use GH discussions or forum posts (on k8ssandra.io) -- I'd be very curious to hear other thoughts on that here? Within the core dev team I think there was a lot of favor for GH, then we could live there all of the time, which is definitely a benefit. But I'm not sure if that's the broader community desire or not, and then how it plays with search results and things like that.
