What does the word ‘woke’ even mean?
- bediger4000 5y agoWhy, shucks, the same thing as "socialism", which means "anything I'm personally offended by". Both "socialism" and "woke" are slightly better than "communism" which means "something that I'm offended by that I don't feel I can understand".
- simonblack 5y agoThis year's fad word, like 'cuck' was a couple of years back. Like any other fad word, it's actual meaning will be fluid over its lifetime. I usually translate it as a derogatory adjective for left-wing people and used by right-wing people. To illustrate its irrelevance, just replace it with 'lemon-scented'. That will be just as useful.
