Why did people start saying “compete power” rather than “computational power”?
I don't get how "compute" became an adjective. Why do we have "compute centers" and such now?

- ssss11 5y agoMaybe generally it changed to align with “storage” and “network” as the other building block of the cloud model
- brodouevencode 5y agoMaybe the same way attaching "-ing" to any noun turns it into a verb: "adulting", "conversating", etc.
