Wow, a lot of people are upset about this. Curious what HN thinks of the argument that Layer 2 scaling + POS will solve / mitigate the environmental problems with ETH at the moment.
- bradwood 5y agoL2 is probably a better choice here IMHO. Maybe Polygon? As regards PoW vs PoS: this is a huge argument - both for and against. PoW can act like an electricity buyer of last resort, soaking up excess waste and enabling green business models for power provision to be viable.
