The other thing that might need to grow is multiple supply chains into specialized nuclear components by an order of magnitude. My gut says it’s actually easier to scale solar and renewables by an order of magnitude than those items. Of course China might have the same motivations of many nuclear powers have - which is a desire to also maintain a baseline manufacturing capacity for nuclear technologies in general.
