To be fair, modern web standards and many orders of magnitude more complex than what existed a decade ago. The issue is less with the browsers and more with the rapidly growing set of web standards.

- southerntofu 5y agoIt's interesting to see how those "standards" are not pushed by users but by industry. See also governance issues about W3C vs WCAG and how Chrome defines "standards", or how W3C was bullied into "standardizing" DRMs.
