Often the number of years required is discriminatory. Asking for 1 or 2 years experience is probably fine, but quite a few posts ask for five years. Without a particularly good reason, I suspect this is nominally unlawful in many jurisdictions. Remember, what employers actually want is competency (and replaceability), not years of possible mediocrity.
