A good Sr Engineer knows that you don't change things just because you don't like how it's being done. Every change comes with risk and one's personal preference is not enough reason to justify the added risk.
- rhacker 5y agoI wasn't thinking the risk was that the tech stack would change. The risk is that this new hire will generally try to avoid GQL (for example) as much as possible.
