> Assuming that a superintelligence will contain a program that includes all the programs that can be executed by a universal Turing machine on input potentially as complex as the state of the world
Why would one assume this?
- nh43de 5y agoIt seems to be the definition of general superintelligence that they are putting forth here. That superintelligence is a turing machine that "knows everything" - e.g. it knows every possible program that can be run (e.g. including simulators for physical phenomena), and the state of the world, with infinite RAM for computation, etc.
