I really don’t think it’s what is being intentionally tested. Evaluating people is a necessarily stressful process to some extent, and it just takes a lot to counteract how different people handle it. Just like I wouldn’t want to be written off for a place for being nervous I wouldn’t write off a place for doing the standard tech interview day-of-45-min-white boarded-questions.
