Revisiting Old Magazines
- onecommentman 5y agoDon’t agree with the contention that paper magazines are on the way out. Started four new subscriptions in the last 6 months. Screens/PDFs for work, paper for pleasure. And easier media space to compete in…you’re not trying to shriek over ten billion other online webpages.
- whatrocks 5y agoYeah, OP here, I'm with you, at least insofar as what I enjoy reading. I'm still buying all my books on paper, for example. And my experience with tracking these magazines down showed that some are still doing great on print (e.g. Weird NJ). I'd love to get more details on how Stripe Press faired and why exactly they're transitioning to something new.
