For the past 10 months, I’ve used a 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro supplied by my employer. How is this possible ? The M1 MBP is only available since October 26.

- Southland 5y agoNot true. There was a 13inch M1 MBP available. It just was not the redesign that has non usb-c ports, etc.
- mmcconnell1618 5y agoM1 MacBook Pro (13 inch) and M1 MacBook Air were released near the end of last year. The newest machines (14 and 16 inch) and the M1 Pro and M1 Max MacBook Pro. The combination of "MacBook Pro" and "M1 Pro CPU" can be confusing. The original poster appears to have gotten an original M1 CPU in the 13 MacBook Pro about 10 months ago from their employer.
