oh, Adverse, now we're talkin. :-D
i was just thinking -- i feel stupid - got played - fakebook put the 'metaverse' term out here and we all ate it up, then they surprised us with the new name, 'Meta', so they 'own' the term/new world, and i don't want them to own it.
in part b/c i think it's going to be stupendously successful, and i don't want to answer to Lord Zuck any more than i already do.
- gregjor 5y agoI don’t use any Facebook products. Social media is just a scam to sell my attention to advertisers. I ditched it all years ago and somehow my life went on. I will probably ignore the “metaverse” too. I don’t want to participate in a toxic and ad-laden virtual world. If I did I have video games.
