As long as these spiders don't develop ICBMs I am sure a lot of people wont take thems seriously at all. It has always saddened me how many people just treat animals like lesser beings ready to be killed, tortured and controlled. Reading about animal cruelty makes me sick - we should be more like guardians than overlords. I suppose this will never sit well with a majority of people, especially if they have other things to worry about...
