iMessages dictated through Siri are labeled as “Sent by Siri” for recipient. I’m not sure why Apple doesn’t display it for the sender.
- marcellus23 5y agoYep, there must be some kind of flag on the message payload to indicate Siri dictation. I wonder if that flag gets sent through SMS at all though, if the recipient is not on iMessage. My guess is there’s nothing in the SMS spec for arbitrary user data like that, but maybe I’m wrong.
