Chick-fil-A admits it has a big customer problem (and no obvious solution)
- h2odragon 5y agoHow many different drive through designs etc are location owners allowed to try to solve this problem? Is there a corporate book specifying that or are franchisees free to attempt new things on their own without risking retribution from their corporate co-owners as well as their customers? Not really related: I've known several independent restaurants locally that only survived as long as the crew felt like fighting with the health inspector. same guy didn't mind the mice in the corporate places but let the locals miss a temperature profile by two degrees and they're shut down for deep cleaning for a week. We've gained a social Reverence for Institution that hasn't been earned and has locked us all into a race to the bottom in Quality of Life tradeoffs to enrich .. stockholders?
