The beginnings of programming (from “The Dream Machine”)
- rektide 5y agoi put down the book PLATO: friendly orange glow a bit back. very fun book about a rather less known early computing effort. it was supposed to be a teaching machine. the book makes it sound like the overwhelming amount of good teaching material that got built on it were systems for teaching computing/programming.
