California legislators do not care about the practical details, as long as their abstractions become ever more pure.
- quantified 5y agoYeah, practical details are to keep burning all the gas in as dirty a fashion as we have been. Sound like a good idea?
- baggy_trough 5y agoIt might be, depending on the particular case. For example, generators when the power goes out, as it does all too frequently in places.
- quantified 5y agoI’d imagine that these have less overall impact. Along those lines, remote job sites probably need fuel-based energy. In this case there’s some carbon and a relative lot of pollution going on.
- baggy_trough 5y agoMaking that kind of tradeoff is something that California legislators seem very bad at.
