How can I get important information like this delivered to my inbox?
I'm serious. Without seeing this here, I might have used YUM to upgrade to the latest version (5.3.7) like I often do. I get the php-announce emails telling me that a new version is available, but nothing telling me when a problem like this emerges.
I think the answer is that this announcement should go out in php-announce. Maybe it will later today.
- mey 15y agoisc sans rss feed is how I first saw this. a better approach is subscribing to the security list for projects you are interested in.
- duggan 15y agoWe use portaudit - http://www.freshports.org/security/portaudit/ http://www.freshports.org/security/portaudit/ I'm sure there's something similar for Linux.
