What is an OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set?
- hunter2_ 5y agoModSecurity is a module you can add to Apache httpd which acts as a web application firewall (WAF) meaning that it inspects HTTP traffic for threats and conditionally blocks requests from being processed. Threats are determined based on various rules you can write yourself or obtain from elsewhere. One of the more popular sets of rules is written/maintained by the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Foundation.
