I don’t read how the yearly net for the employee changes. The employee agreement with the employer is for X pay, and I doubt the agreement states the fashion that location plays in their pay function. The employer is looking at how they pay relative to the market the enployee is in. Would the employee ask for a pay raise if they moved to a more expensive market, and would the employer offer it?
