One thing GDPR v2 should mandate: these popups MUST have a prominent button to only enable the "necessary" cookies. Better yet, create a site which would state my preference globally and which they'd have to obey. Without this, companies outdo themselves with deceptive design to make you enable more cookies than you'd like, and it's fucking annoying.
- aembleton 5y agoWe could bring back DNT header for another go. With some legislation and fines, it could be made useful by requiring it to be respected.
