Same! I opened an issue on mypy only to receive a patient explanation why it's happening and to close it as a duplicate. Had quite a shock to see "Guido van Rossum" in my inbox it took me quite a while to realize that it's Github who mailed me; I didn't really receive it directly from the BDFL. Still pretty cool so, like any normal person would do, I decided to tweet about it. I opened Twitter and the first tweet on my feed was also from GvR. It simply read, "What a waste of time". This happened around the time of the first debate for last year's US Presidential Elections. Make what you will of the fact. :)
