Hi everyone. I made a video about why I don't like TCP and why I think it is time to design a new message transport protocol (MTP) for the upcoming HotNets 2021 workshop, and I wanted to share it with hackernews as well.

- tpmx 5y agoI like the fast presentation style. If you're gonna have to do a video, for the love of god, speak fast. Using that cat is cheating though. :)
- brente 5y agothanks! its good to hear the cats make the video better. i get the feeling that they're the actual stars of the video. funny enough, using the cats was a last minute decision even, but i'm glad i did it. it wasn't too hard because my cats are used to being held, and it mostly went well, except for Frankie trying to break my microphone at the end.
