A guy being interviewed as a CTO was trying to argue an entire rewrite was needed to move from Postgres to MongoDB (for tabular data). His argument was, and I quote: ‘I’m right, and I don’t need to explain myself to you.’. That was to the non technical cofounder. To myself he just said, ‘I don’t mean any disrespect, but you don’t know how to scale ’. This was literally for a basic crud application with 0.1% usage on a RDS micro instance. I would have loved to hear any technical excuse
