This is definitely true but just fyi by now you should be getting 2% back on everything, more if it's specific categories. If you're only getting 1% and have good credit, you need a new card.
- jfk13 5y agoNote that while this may be the case in the US, where interchange fees are outrageous and therefore the cards can offer such "rewards", the relevant figures may look quite different in other places.
