My group started a new campaign and I’ve been killed at least 5 times, rolled 5 new toons. It really depends on how the DM runs the game and how adaptable the PCs are. It’s actually more fun not getting so attached and playing a diverse range of characters, of which you can have links between. We’re playing Old School Essentials (BX) btw and it rocks.
