- ThrowawayR2 5y agoThey probably wouldn't have a problem with the 'L's. Among Asian languages, AFAIK it's only Japanese that doesn't have a 'L'/'R' distinction. Mandarin Chinese does; for example, 老 (lao3) vs 繞 (rao3).
