OSINT nerds seeing 3 aircraft flying together in privacy mode: ALL HANDS ON DECK
- junon 5y agoCan someone explain why this is interesting to the, ahem... "nerds" (I hate this word)? Are they new models or secret government stuff or what? They just look like normal aircraft to me.
- xxpor 5y agoForbidden fruit: they used a special ADS-B setting to hide their identity. This makes everyone interested in finding out who they are and what they have to hide. If they had just flown with normal identifiers, no one would have paid attention.
- ethanbond 5y agoStreisand effect. They’re trying to hide something so, clearly, the new game is to figure out what/why!
- redis_mlc 5y agoLikely these charter planes are related to the illegal Biden administration relocation of millions of illegal aliens across the US from the southern border. You can learn more about how the federal government uses charter operators by reading previous news reports on the single-engine Cessnas used to monitor US cities from above. One employee said, "If you report on this, the government will just rent different airplanes." (There is a group of 3 Gulfstream III customized jets used as a backup for Air Force 1 with different tail numbers than reported in the twitter thread.)
