Bezos is still able to underwrite Blue Origin with his stated $2 billion - then if there are delays with SpaceX Blue Origin would be well positioned to launch it's own parallel project. NASA may or may not be interested? This would require access to ongoing build specs to converge to a fully compatible vehicle - which may be withheld? In any event Bezos is fully capable of going all the way on his own project with his own money as, much the same as Musk also can.
