Ask HN: What are some great learning communities? code reading club?
I recently attended a Analytical Number Theory Club at https://offbeat.cc/iant . It helped my read through the stuff leaving procrastination aside.
Next I'll be attending the Rust Compiler Code Reading Club at https://mojosd.medium.com/rust-code-reading-club-8fe356287049
Is there a platform for these clubs? The tools for a good learning community seems to be missing?
- banjodeluxe 5y agoI don't know if they exist, but if they do I'd be happy to join one. If they don't and someone feels like it I'd also be happy to try and be a part in starting one.

- redis_mlc 5y agoIt's a red flag when a programmer can't learn on their own. I'd suggest you look inward and see if this is the right career for you. (The kernel janitors list shutdown when people with no programming talent submitted thousands of whitespace patches. Something to think about.)
