I generally toggle to firefox's reader-view (Ctrl alt R). although Im not really comfortable with it, and its not always available.
What I'd prefer is a mixture of that feature and this typeface/structure:

And if you toggle to read-view, I gets worse. A customizable read-view would do it. (when I read articles I lay back in my chair, when I code I could spot a typo in the smallest font-size. My two cents. :)
