"The users are in control of their own funds" just means "Jeff Bezos owns everything with no viable way to get it back".
State control of funds is the only thing that can bring us back from the brink of neofeudalism. The venom is against the people trying to accelerate our decline by taking that away.
- deputydoofy 5y agoAh yes, The State will certainly save us from neofeudalism, all hail The State, it will solve all problems and absolve us of innovation or independent thought.
- serverholic 5y agoThe state is there to enforce corporate interests. Competition is what these companies are afraid of.
- malermeister 5y agoThat's just the current form the state is taking in the US. As a counterexample, there was a lot you could accuse the USSR of, but enforcing corporate interests was not one of them.
- serverholic 5y agoIn that case just replace "corporate interests" with "the interests of powerful elites" in my statement.
