- bopbeepboop 5y agoDo you also support “Whites in Basketball”? I’m asking, because women in STEM seems to be the only area where we focus on the needs of the majority (women are 60% in universities) rather than the needs of the minority. Women have been the majority in education a decade longer than I’ve been alive — how much sexist privilege does the majority need? To me, it sounds like “Whites in Basketball”: - benefits the majority in areas they’re “historically underrepresented” - focuses on “high paying jobs” with special skills, ignoring broader issues
