Apple's M1 Pro, M1 Max chips are the culmination of a vision hatched in 2008
- rektide 5y agoStill so curious how much of the firing of the gun on this plan was buying PA Semi, 2008. PA Semi had been doing PowerPC, but making some very interesting well integrated chips, and I still like to pretend that this was a core turning point acquisition, that this rather awesome group of folk somehow made all or a big part of the difference.
