This reminds me of a fun internet rabbithole. Feeling a little too comfortable? Need a little spice in your life? Why not watch some... surgery videos? In the wake of having multiple surgeries myself, I became interested in watching procedures like the one in the article actually being performed. I don't consider myself squeamish, but just try finishing a video of, say, knee-replacement surgery. Imagine carpentry, with someone's living bone. Yikes. Massive respect for the people who successfully do this every day without being completely overwhelmed by the complexity, the high stakes, and, especially, the cringe-inducing gore.
