I would be interested in seeing a side by side comparison of two classes taught in Scheme SICP and JavaScript SICP. Let's say each version is taught in a CS 101 class and then the study could follow how well the students learn the rest of their CS curriculum based on the SICP version they started with. Outside embedded and system programming classes the remaining CS curriculum could allow most classes be complete in Scheme or JavaScript.
